Literacy Program
Read to Me
… created to help students become better readers while also learning the importance of volunteerism. The goal of The Read to Me Program is two-fold. In pairing younger students with trained volunteer readers, vocabulary, listening and comprehension skills of the elementary school children improve through the literacy partnership. The student volunteers gain community service hours by giving back to their community while making a positive impact in the lives of younger youth.
